  Tips:1.The stationery is less expensive and paper with the symbol of BIT can be bought.

           2.There is a railway ticket machine at the doorway of Zhixiao Supermarket. Railway tickets, especially the tickets for students can  be got there.

  Express & Mail Receipt and Dispatch Room
 

   Xiaomai Commune is newly founded for express at BIT. It is located at the west side of the 15th Student Apartment. Until now, Shun Feng Express, Icson and Zhongtong Express have signed contracts to receive and send packages in Xiaomai Commune. 

    EMS is located on the 2nd floor of Comprehensive Service Building.

    Yuantong Express is at the Big South Gate, and other expresses are at the Small South Gate.

    Mail Receipt and Dispatch Room is for receiving packages and mails outside the school. If the address is uncertain or written as dorm number, the package or mail will be sent to the Mail Receipt and Dispatch Room at the 1st Teaching Building; if the address is written as the name of the schools and classes, the package or mail will be sent to the related school’s office.

 

  Laundry

  Location: East side of the post office; next to the Student Bathroom; at the door of the Student Comprehensive Service Center and the vegetable market.

(Emergency room works 24 hours a day)

Undergraduate students in book need to show the medical records when seeing a   doctor at the campus hospital. It is suggested to use One-Card to pay the medical   fees. If students have to be transferred to another hospital, they have to get the   transfer treatment sheets from the campus doctors.

  Recommendation: breakfast
 

4.Muslim Canteen

  Advice: Out of the respect to Muslim students, do not go there with food bought from other places.
 

5.Jinggong Local Cuisine Canteen

  Tips: Food service for all day time.
 

6.Yan Garden Restaurant

  Tips: A good place for dining together.
 

7.Ligong Restaurant

  Location: East side of Yuanzhi Building

  Business Hour: 10:00 a.m.—10:30 p.m.

  Tips: A good place for buying breakfast
 

8.Others: There are some restaurants near Zhixiao Supermarket, including a Muslim restaurant. Have a try!

 

1.The New Canteen: the biggest canteen in BIT

  Service: a supermarket on the 1st floor (One-Card can be used); the 4th floor is usually used for various activities.
 

2.The 7th Canteen

  Location: south side of the New Canteen; the 2nd floor
 

3.Jin Bang Yuan Restaurant

  Business Hours: 6:00 a.m.—11:00 p.m.

  Tips: A proper place for dining together
 

4.Other Restaurants: There are also two restaurants next to Jin Bang Yuan Restaurant, one is a noodles restaurant, the other sells snacks like different fried rice and rice noodles. Both of them are good places for having snacks at night.

 

 

 

1.Main stadium: To the east of the gym. Access all day expect contests or school team training. Suitable for jogging and running in the evening.
 

2.West playground: Quite new due to recent renovation. One football ground large enough and two small grounds. Seven basketball courts, two volleyball courts and four tennis courts (not free).

The library, Central Teaching Building, Information Teaching Building, Graduates Building and No.3 Teaching Building are all available for self-study.

 

1.The Library (Air-conditioner and WI-FI): Bad cell phone signals. You can reserve a separate cubby on the 4th floor. We appeal that no one should take a seat with their own stuff when they are not present.

2.Central Teaching Building: All the classrooms are amphitheatre, students can choose wherever they like to study (except the lecture hall), it’s usually quiet and with few people.

3.Information Teaching Building (WI-FI): Close to the canteen. There are more people here, and this building is not available when there are exams.

4.Graduates Building: Not very much undergraduates, a little cold in winter.

5.The 3rd Teaching Building: Students can self-study on 3rd and 4th floor.

 

Minzu University of China West Street: South Gate Roasted Wing, Helens, and the road with countless restaurants on its sides are all very famous. There are something more than food, for girls who likes shopping, the little stores by the roadside are worth visiting.

 

The Gym of Beijing Foreign Study University: You cannot take a shower there, and the equipments are sort of out of fashion, but at least it has a swimming pool.

 

Tianzuo Building: A small commodity wholesale market, like Zhongda Ruixiang nearby Liangxiang Campus, you can buy supplies like pens, lamps there. It also sells clothes.

 

Huayu Shopping Center: Not far from Tianzuo Building, Huayu Shopping Center is more high - grade, it sells clothes, watches, and there is a Watsons in it.

 

Gate City Mall: Two stops away from school, Gate City Mall is where you can buy digital product, there are also Carrefour and many other stores. We recommend the Gangli Restaurant on the 1st floor of Carrefour.There is a movie theater on the basement level.

 

Zhongguancun Shopping Center: In front of Zhongguancun E-World, there is a movie theater, on the 2nd floor there is a Games Center,you can buy Game currency on the Internet, it’s cheaper.
